Ce slogan témoigne des exigences et des ambitions de l’Association industrielle allemande des produits d'étanchéité, l’INDUSTRIEVERBAND DICHTSTOFFE E.V. ou IVD : définir des critères de qualité de niveau supérieur applicables aux produits d’étanchéité utilisés dans la construction et à leur mise en œuvre et créer ainsi une norme qui servira de repère à l'ensemble des acteurs du marché : l’industrie, les concepteurs, les exécutants et les investisseurs.Les fiches techniques thématiques mises au point par les ateliers de l’IVD constituent la pièce maîtresse de ce projet et sont à la pointe de la technologie en matière d’étanchéité des joints de construction.
